The days might be getting shorter, but there's no shortage of fun in Boise in November!

Want to make room for all that Thanksgiving turkey? You might want to sign up for the Turkey Day Run that happens on Thanksgiving Day!  Registration is open now, and not only do you get to stretch your legs in a 5K, you get a shirt, free food and hot beverages afterwards, a race photo, and access to the Finish Festival!  See more at http://www.turkeyday-5k.com/races/boise/

If you are one of those people that starts celebrating the holidays right after Halloween (you know who you are!), you might want to bundle up and head out to the Idaho Botanical Gardens for their annual Winter Garden Aglow.  It is a masterpiece of holiday lights that will definitely get you in the spirit and warm your heart while the hot chocolate warms your hands! Admission is only $8-$10, see more at http://idahobotanicalgarden.org/winter-garden-aglow/

November is also the month to honor our Veterans who fought for our freedom!  We here at CORE want to say thank you and applaud you for your selfless service. There are quite a few places offering meals or deals to say "thank you" in the Treasure Valley, including Applebee's, Buffalo Wild Wings, California Pizza Kitchen, Chili's, Chipotle, Denny's, Dickey's, Golden Corral, Menchies, Sizzler, and Yard House!  Check out more here http://militarybenefits.info/veterans-day-discounts-sales-deals-free-meals/

Back to those that break out the movie "Elf" right after Halloween, we have our annual Festival of Trees coming back November 23rd-27th!  There will be performances galore by different dance groups, bands, and Santa is rumored to be in attendance as well... This year Saint Alphonsus Neonatal Intensive Care Unit will be benefiting from the proceeds. Find more information here https://www.saintalphonsus.org/festival

Wishing you the best this November!
