Whether you are new to the area or were born and raised here, there are always places to explore in Boise. At Core Group Realty, we have a variety of residents including newer ones that have been wondering what attractions we have. No matter what category you fall into, we wanted to help you discover some of the hidden gems and fun activities that the Treasure Valley has to offer!
Big Jud’s – (http://www.bigjuds.com/) Have you ever eaten a hamburger the size of your head?! This delicious restaurant has made an appearance on Man vs. Food and for good reason! If you finish the monstrous burger and all of the toppings…PLUS the fries, you get your picture on the wall and, of course, bragging rights.
Bodies in Motion – (http://www.bodiesinmotionidaho.com) Ever wanted to feel like a real life ninja? You can climb and swing to new heights at Bodies in Motion with their Ninja Warrior course, open ropes, and even their couple’s races. Not only do they have an amazing obstacle course on the ground (Gym, move aside!) but they also have a ropes obstacle course 20 feet above the floor, not for the faint of heart! Lots of fun for to be had for kids, couples, and adults.
Liquid Laughs – (http://www.liquidboise.com) Looking for a laugh? Giggle yourself silly almost every night downtown at Liquid Laughs! Wednesday is open mic night, and Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday have locally famous and world wide comedy wonders. There is a two item minimum, but that can easily be met with a drink or two (21+ only!). If you fancy yourself a comic, write a funny haiku on your comment card and you could win free tickets to the next show! And trust me, you’ll want to come back!
CenturyLink Arena – (http://www.centurylinkarenaboise.com) Centurylink Arena is home to many different events and activities but it’s most famous featured performers are the athletes of the Idaho Steelheads, our local hockey team! Come cheer them on with a big coat and big bag of popcorn. If hockey’s not your thing, the Front Street Fights, live MMA fighting will be held Friday May 16th, tickets are only $15 which makes it even sweeter!
What fun things have you found to do in Boise? We would love to hear from you on what hidden gems you have seen around town. Our goal is to go exploring this weekend to see what we find for next month’s activities post!
