Happy September everyone, I hope you're ready for Fall, Pumpkin Spice Lattes, cozy sweaters, and swirling brown and red leaves!

September in Boise is still nice and warm, and is the perfect opportunity to explore what Boise has to offer.  Here are some fun activities that we enjoyed the first year and every year after that!

Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic
Have you ever woken up on a crisp Fall morning and the sky has been full of floating dots of color?  Come watch them put on a show for you tonight, September 2nd with Nite Glow Spectacular!  There will be food, music, glowing hot air balloons, and friendly Idaho people at Ann Morrison Park at 6:00.  If you're prepared for an early morning, September 3rd and 4th the balloons will be lifting off at 7:15 am from the park.  The event might be over after that, but don't worry, you'll still see the balloons around!

Art in the Park
Who isn't a fan of incredibly crafted jewelry and art?  Come find an array of intricately designed displays behind the Art Museum at Julia Davis Park in front of the Zoo!  September 9th-11th from 10am - 8pm, Friday and Saturday and 10am - 5pm Sunday more than 200 local artists will have their wares out for you to peruse.  If you don't leave with something you love, you just need to come back the next day!

Movies Under the Stars
September 9th will be your last chance to come see a movie on a GIANT inflatable screen at a local Boise park!  This last showing will be of Zootopia at Hobble Creek Park.  Come early at 7pm to play capture the flag and other games with the Boise Parks & Recreation Mobile Recreation Van.  The movie starts when it gets dark! Please leave pets at home, clean up afterwards, and enjoy the show!

Hyde Park Street Fair
If this is your first time in Boise, or you've been here many years and haven't experienced the Street Fair yet, make this year your year!  It is a great way to get a taste of our fabulous North End community, make some friends, and eat some exotic food along the way.  Join in September 16th, 17th, and 18th from Camel's Back Park to 13th & Heron for beer, children's games, vendors, a wine garden, and live music. What's not to love about that combination?

We can't wait to see you at one or all of these September events here in Boise!
